2011 South Sequoia Season Preview SUMMARY

Tehachapi still has to be consider the favorite to win the South Sequoia League, but some of the teams are optimistic some strategic adjustments will bring some balance to the league.

TEAM SUMMARIES (2010 Record)

ARVIN (2-8, 2-3) mostly very young, but they hoping an athletic junior class meshes well with the remaining senior leadership on the squad.
BAKERSFIELD CHRISTIAN (4-7, 2-3) still looking for stability, but will have a new look defensively with a 3-3 stack scheme (limited information provided).
SHAFTER (3-7, 0-5) new coach bringing some new strategy to attempt to best utilized the talent on the roster.
TAFT (2-8, 2-2) ready to put 2010 behind them and take the steps to return to play for a Valley Championship, like they did in 2009 (limited information provided).
TEHACHAPI (13-1, 5-0) defending Division II Valley Champs are loaded with talent and ready to defend their title.
WASCO (8-3, 4-1) keeps churning out premier running backs and this year the Tigers look to challenge Tehachapi for a league crown (limited information provided).
