Lemoore quarterback Cort Groathouse was voted the 2014 Kings County Players’ Choice Offensive MVP and Corcoran defensive back Dillon Fugate was voted the 2014 Kings County Players’ Choice Defensive MVP.

Groathouse ran the Lemoore offense like a well-oiled machine, as he led the Tigers to an undefeated regular season, including a win in the annual Milk Can Game vs. Hanford.

The senior signal caller completed 63.7 percent of his passes on the season for 2,647 yards, 31 touchdowns and 13 interceptions, while also rushing for 784 yards and nine more touchdowns.

Fugate was a key component in Corcoran’s Valley Championship run this season, with contributions on both sides of the ball.

As the Panthers’ defensive leader, he recorded 92 tackles, a sack, an interception and a forced fumble on the season.

Both Groathouse and Fugate will be including in the 2014 People’s Choice All-Valley MVP voting.
