Tulare running back Romello Harris was voted the 2014 Tulare County Players’ Choice Offensive MVP and Dinuba linebacker Chandler Cocklin was voted the 2014 Tulare County Players’ Choice Defensive MVP.

Harris was a workhorse for the Redskins in 2014, as he carried the ball a total of 328 times for 2,561 yards and 31 touchdowns.

The talented junior ball carrier already holds a number of scholarship offers and will be one of the top prospects in the Valley next season.

Cocklin moved to Dinuba for his senior season and utilized his speed and nose for the ball to have an immediate impact for the Dinuba defense.

The senior linebacker led the Emperors with 78 tackles on the season, plus he disrupted opponents’ passing attacks—intercepting five passes.

Both Harris and Cocklin will be including in the 2014 People’s Choice All-Valley MVP voting.
