Bullard grad Williams leads UNLV in rushing in season opener

Bullard grad Charles Williams broke on the scene for his college debut leading UNLV in rushing in the Rebels’ 63-13 blowout of Jackson State on Thursday.

Williams, a true freshman, led all Rebel ball carriers with 12 carries for 96 yards and a touchdown.

His touchdown run came on a 17-yard run with 4:17 remaining in the third quarter.

Williams didn’t start for the Rebels but got his first carry in the first quarter of the opener.
