Caruthers’ Casanova records career win No. 200

Caruthers’ Tom Casanova became just the seventh coach in section history to win 200 games during a career.

The Blue Raiders grounded out a 28-14 victory over Riverdale, to give Casanova the milestone accomplishment.

Caruthers rushed for 250 yards and four touchdowns, led by Uriel Arredondo’s 19 carries for 208 yards and three touchdowns.

The Blue Raiders were consistent, as they scored seven points in each of the four quarters.

Ivan Vega led Riverdale with 11 carries for 82 yards. Adam Sierra and Kameron King scored rushing touchdowns for the Cowboys.
