Croney leads Ridgeview’s offensive explosion

Ridgeview running back Sheldon Croney was simply unstoppable in the Wolf Pack’s 55-27 win over Tulare on Friday to return to the Valley semifinals.

Croney carried the ball 18 times for 339 yards and six touchdowns in the thrashing.

And he wasn’t the only member of the Wolf Pack getting in on the action.

Ridgeview amassed 660 yards of total offense in the game—513 of which was on the ground.

The Wolf Pack’s dual-threat quarterback Lawrence White completed 8-of-12 passes for 147 yards, no touchdowns and one interception, plus he rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown on seven carries.

Jamar Moya rushed six times for 67 yards and a touchdown, plus caught five passes for 88 yards in the victory.

Tulare’s standout running back Romello Harris rushed 18 times for 44 yards and a touchdown. Redskin quarterback Josh Guerrero completed 12-of-24 passes for 229 yards, a touchdown and an interception, plus he rushed six times for 50 yards and a touchdown.

Ridgeview will move on to face Sanger in the Division II semifinals.
