Dean leads Golden Valley in dominating fashion

Golden Valley’s quarterback-running back Andrew Dean and Tyler Watters combined for 385 yards of total offense in the Bulldogs’ 35-7 win over Highland on Friday.

Dean carried a particularly big load for the offense, rushing for 214 yards and two touchdowns on 29 carries in the game.

Watters completed 8-of-17 passes for 118 yards, a touchdown and no interceptions, plus he rushed eight times for 53 yards and two touchdowns.

Jacob Vallejo was his leading receiver with five catches for 50 yards.

Cameron Espinoza led Highland with 10 carries for 76 yards in the game.

The Scots’ sole touchdown came on an 18-yard completion from Breaker Brannan to Adam Terrazas.
