Pretty crazy week of high school football made it a little difficult to stay level-headed and not get too caught in the excitement.

Bakersfield and Clovis keep getting it done, clearly the top two teams in the Valley.

The initial reaction was to drop San Joaquin Memorial after losing this week to Bullard. But considering it was only the Panthers’ second loss of the season and the quality resume the they have, they actually stayed ranked higher than Bullard.

Garces quietly keeps getting it done and may possibly lock up the No. 1 seed for the Division II Valley Playoffs if it wins this week against North.

Dinuba, on the other hand, may have already locked up the No. 1 seed even in the unlikely event of dropping its game this week against Exeter.
