Elizondo’s versatility leads Sanger to rivalry win over Reedley

Sanger’s Kris Elizondo scored four touchdowns in a variety of ways, as the Apaches easily set aside their long-time rival Reedley, 42-7, on Friday in Reedley.

Elizondo returned a punts 72 and 43 yards for touchdowns, plus scored on one- and 68-yard touchdown runs. Elizondo racked up 129 yards rushing on eight carries.

Sawyer Pittman (six carries for 51 yards), Brandon Gonzalez (12-63), Travis Turner (5-70) an Miguel Garcia (2-45) also each had more than 40 yards rushing in the game for Sanger. The Aztecs gained all of their yards on the ground in the game.

Daniel Guerrero scored Reedley’s only touchdown on three-yard run.

The Apaches move to 4-1 on the season, while Reedley dropped to 0-5.
