Senior quarterback Cort Groathouse had his fourth-ranked Lemoore Tigers rolling in a 49-15 win over Mt. Whitney on Friday in Visalia.

Groathouse completed 18-of-28 passes in the rout for 296 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for 109 yards and another touchdown.

Both the Perryman cousins had triple-digit nights in their respective capacities. Allen caught five passes for 143 yards, while Trey rushed 13 times for 129 yards.

“We came out and played well,” Lemoore head coach Shannon Pulliam told the Hanford Sentinel. “It was just one of those nights where everything was clicking.”

The Tigers took it to the Pioneers from the opening kickoff. Lemoore took a 14-0 lead in the first quarter and extended it to 35-0 going into halftime and 49-15 to finish the game.

Lemoore is now 8-0, as is its top rival Hanford. Both teams have one more game before they meet for an extra-heated Milk Can Game on Nov. 7 in Lemoore.
