Hodges’ dual-threat production powers Independence

Independence quarterback Preston Hodges was at it again, this time both through the air and on the ground, as the Falcons defeated East Bakersfield, 55-21, on Friday in Bakersfield.

Hodges rushed for 126 yards and passed for 211 yards and accounted for a total of three touchdowns in the contest.

As a team, Independence gained 381 yards on the ground.

Blades running back Tanner Vieyra rushed 24 times for 130 yards for the night.
