Kendricks dominant in UCLA victory over USC

Hoover graduate Eric Kendricks was all over the field in UCLA’s 38-20 win over cross-town rival USC on Saturday in the historic Rose Bowl.

Kendricks led the Bruin defense with 14 stops on the afternoon—12 of which were solo tackles. He also recorded a tackle for a loss and intercepted a pass to end a Trojan drive.

Centennial graduate and USC quarterback Cody Kessler went 22-for-34 for 214 yards, a touchdown and an interception in the contest.

Kendricks has started all 11 of the Bruins’ games this year and has recorded 128 tackles, seven tackles for a loss, two sacks, three interceptions, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

Kessler has also started all 11 games for his team and has completed 69.7 percent of his passes for 3,133 yards, 30 touchdowns and four interceptions on the year.
