Kendricks one tackle away from career high

Hoover graduate Eric Kendricks was one tackle away from career high in No. 25 UCLA’s double-overtime 40-37 win over Colorado on Saturday.

Kendricks recorded 16 tackles on the day and all but one were solo tackles. He also recorded a tackle for a loss, broke up a pass and intercepted a pass.

Kendricks’ career high was 17 tackles against Arizona State in 2012.

The senior linebacker leads UCLA with 93 tackles on the season—31 more than the next closest Bruin. He’s also recorded five tackles for a loss, a sack, two interceptions, two pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

UCLA improves to 6-2 on the season and 3-2 in league play.
