Maldonaldo powers Sierra run game past Parlier

Shane Maldonaldo nearly topped 200 yards in leading his Sierra Chieftains to a 34-6 win over Parlier on Friday.

Maldonaldo led the Chieftain rushing attack with 20 carries for 195 yards and two touchdowns to improve Sierra’s record to 3-1 on the season.

Tristan Wilson connected with Cameron Brady for Sierra’s first touchdown of the game on a 15-yard completion in the second quarter.

The Chieftains took a 7-0 led into halftime but would extend it to 13-0 when Wilson found Brady with another touchdown pass in the third quarter.

Brady added one more touchdown, this time on the ground, as he ended the night with two catches for 57 yards and two touchdowns, plus six carries for eight yards and another touchdown.

Wilson went 9-for-17 for 138 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions.

Parlier scored it’s touchdown on a 14-yard touchdown pass from James Rodriguez to Bobby Ray Sanchez.
