McDaniel scores 4 TDs in Hanford victory over Dinuba

Jojo McDaniel scored four touchdowns to lead Hanford past Dinuba, 45-21, on Friday for the second year in a row.

The senior running back led all rushers with 20 carries for 104 yards and four touchdowns.

Hanford quarterback Ryan Johnson went 15-for-27 for 168 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions.

His primary target of the evening was senior wideout Juju Hughes, who caught seven passes for 115 yards and a touchdown.

After being tied 7-7 in the first quarter, Hanford went on a run where it outscored Dinuba 38-7 before the Emperors added their final touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Dinuba quarterback Isaac Leppke went 6-for-9 for 90 yards, no touchdowns and an interception. Gustavo Villareal came in the second half and completed 3-of-5 passes for 110 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.

Jacob Paradine was the Emperors’ top receiver with four catches for 133 yards and two touchdowns—both over 40 yards.
