McMaryion starts first game for Oregon State


Dinuba grad Marcus McMaryion started his first game of his Oregon State career in a 52-42 loss to in-state rival Oregon on Friday.

McMaryion went 11-of-21 for 154 yards, no touchdowns and an interception, plus a six-yard touchdown run in the contest.

Buchanan grad Adam Soesman also saw time for the Beavers but on the defensive side, recording six tackles, a forced fumble and a pass break up.

The Beavers finished the year 2-10 under first-year head coach Gary Andersen.
