Memorial’s Alvarez voted Week 7 Offensive Player of the Week

San Joaquin Memorial quarterback Michael Alvarez was voted the People’s Choice Offensive Player of the Week, sponsored by BLACKmp LIVING WATER, for Week 7.

Alvarez completed 10-of-24 passes for 135 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions, plus rushed for 113 yards and three touchdowns in the Panthers’ 49-27 win over Madera.

Alvarez is only allowed be named or voted Player of the Week once during the 2014 season. San Joaquin Memorial will not be eligible to have an Offensive Player of the Week candidate for the remainder of the calendar month of October.
