Jamar-Moya-Ridgeview-4529

It was simple for Jamar Cotton-Moya on Friday. It didn’t matter how you got him the ball, he was going to be devastating with it in his hands.

His Wolf Pack picked up a 45-19 win over Lemoore to capture the Division II Valley Championship in front of their home fans.

Cotton-Moya rushed 16 times for 63 yards and three touchdowns and caught three passes for 85 yards.

Teammate Lawrence White’s impact was just as big for the Ridgeview offense, as he completed 5-of-8 passes for 102 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions, plus he carried the ball 12 times for 116 yards and two touchdowns.

Lemoore kept it close at first, but a big second quarter by Ridgeview extended the Wolf Pack’s lead to 24-7 going into halftime.

The Tigers battled but couldn’t eliminate the deficit.

Lemoore quarterback Logan Ahlin completed 13-of-25 passes for 231 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. Allen Perryman was his top receiver with three catches for 114 yards and three touchdowns.

For the Ridgeview defense, Jaleyn Prevost intercepted a pass and returned it 99 yards for a touchdown.
