North’s Threlkeld scores 3 TDs in 3 different ways

North’s Curtis Threlkeld scored three touchdowns in three different varieties in the Stars’ 41-0 rout of Foothill on Friday in Bakersfield.

Threlkeld opened the game’s scoring with an 84-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.

In the second quarter he caught a 40-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Steven Twiss.

And his final touchdown came on a 40-yard interception return for a touchdown just before halftime, to give the Stars’ a 41-0 lead going into the locker room.

Isaiah Dillard added eight carries for 53 yards for the Stars.

Also scoring touchdowns for the Stars were Joe Rogers on a 15-yard run, Tyler Gillmore on a six-yard reception and Donnie Swann on a fumble recovery return.

Jaffee Ward led the Trojans with 14 carries for 64 yards in the game.
