Edison senior Kevin Nutt has formally decommitted from his verbal agreement to Nevada, but wants to make it clear he hasn’t ruled out playing for the Wolf Pack.
During the season, Nutt verbally committed to play for Nevada, which was looking at him playing safety in its defensive backfield.
Two days ago, Nutt decided he wanted to look at some of his options for playing at the next level.
“I didn’t want to limit myself to just that one school because I don’t want to go there and end up finding out I don’t like it and regret not looking at my other choices,” Nutt said.
But the Edison senior also said he is still very much considering playing for the Wolf Pack, while weighing all of his options.
“I want to take my trips to explore what other colleges have to offer me,” Nutt said.
Nutt is scheduled to take a visit to Colorado State this weekend.
