Nutt, Hodges help Colorado State improve to 7-1

Independence graduate Preston Hodges and Edison alumnus Kevin Nutt combined for eight tackles in Colorado State’s 45-31 win over Wyoming on Saturday.

Hodges started at free safety and recorded five tackles, three of which were solo tackles, and one pass break up.

Nutt made three tackles in the game for the Colorado State defense.

Clovis North graduate and Ram defensive end Josh Lovingood saw some time also and broke up a pass.

Colorado State is now 7-1 this year and 3-1 in Mountain West action.
