Quick changes position at Oklahoma

After playing wide receiver his first two seasons in Norman, Central grad Michiah Quick is moving to the defensive side of the ball for his junior year with the Oklahoma Sooners.

Joey Helmer of OUInsider reports Quick will play cornerback for the Sooners and is progressing well with his new role with the team.

“At first it was a little rocky,” Quick told OUInsider. “Now, it feels more natural with all the coaching technique and all that.”

Over the past two seasons Quick caught a total of 34 passes for 340 yards and a touchdown.
