Ridgeview thwarts No. 20 South

Although No. 20 South has looked strong this year, Ridgeview wanted to make it clear 2013 will not be the year the Wolf Pack vacates its place atop the South Yosemite League.

Ridgeview defeated South, 27-14, on Friday at Ridgeview.

Four separate players scored the Wolf Park’s four touchdowns in the win.

Ridgeview took a 20-7 lead into halftime, but South cut the deficit to 20-14 with a one-yard touchdown run by Johnnie Dirden in the third quarter.

But the Wolf Pack struck again with a 50-yard touchdown pass from Lawrence White to Ja’mar Moya.

White completed 5-of-9 passes for 137 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions.
