Sanger puts beating on Madera South

Elijah Shufford and Ryan Ramirez each had a pair of touchdown runs in Sanger’s 42-7 win over Madera South on Friday in Madera.

Shufford first scored on a three-yard run and then a 13-yard run. Ramirez scored on runs of 10 and 12 yards.

In the third quarter Sanger’s Blake Mattern threw a 30-yard touchdown pass to Joshua Moreno, to extend the Apaches’ lead to 35-0

Sanger took a 21-0 lead into halftime, then doubled it, 42-0, in the third quarter.

Madera South running back Christian Morales rushed 14 times for 113 yards and the Stallions’ only touchdown.
