Scott leads Liberty-Bakersfield in rout of Frontier

Braylin Scott got the scoring started for his seventh-ranked Liberty-Bakersfield Patriots and the team never looked back in its 38-0 win over No. 22 Frontier.

Scott’s first touchdown was a 68-yard punt return he took back to the house. He followed that up with a 90-yard touchdown reception from Jordan Love.

Scott ended the game with two receptions for 108 yards and a touchdown and two total touchdowns.

Braxton Prince, Quincy Jountti and Anthony Mariscal each scored on touchdown runs for the Patriots.

Mariscal rushed for a team-high 88 yards on six carries in the game.

Frontier accumulated 173 yards of total offense, compared to Liberty’s 288.
