Sierra Pacific run game too much for Yosemite

Led by an explosive running game, Sierra Pacific came away with a 48-0 win over Yosemite on Friday.

“The kids are working extremely hard and the defense has been showing up all season,” Sierra Pacific head coach Josh Kloster said. “We are starting to find an identity playing Golden Bear football.”

The Golden Bears rushed for 423 yards as a team, led by Cody Gardner’s eight carries for 98 yards and two touchdowns.

Yosemite was limited to just 15 yards of total offense in the loss.

Defensively the Bears were led by Dee Willis’ 17 tackles, who also contributed 45 yards rushing and one touchdown on the offensive side of the ball.
