Sierra Pacific wins first league game in school history

Sierra Pacific head coach Josh Kloster estimates his team rushed for approximately 350 yards in a 34-6 win over Lindsay on Thursday.

Junior running back Dee Willis led the way with more than 100 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.

But it was the defense leading the way for the Bears as the victory served as a milestone for the young program.

“It was a great feeling to win the first league game in school history,” Kloster said.

Sierra Pacific is now 5-1 on the season and 1-0 in East Sequoia League play. Lindsay fell to 0-6 overall and 0-1 against league foes.
