Stock powers CVC run game past BCHS

Kolin Stock put to rest any questions whether Central Valley Christian has its feature back for its offense in the Cavaliers’ 29-14 win over Bakersfield Christian on Friday.

Stock carried the ball 31 times for 249 yards and three touchdowns in the victory.

Conner Paden also added nine carries for 82 yards for the CVC rushing attack.

BCHS got on the board first with a 57-yard touchdown pass from Bradley Western to Brock Duffield.

But CVC scored 29 unanswered points before BCHS got on the board again with a two-yard run by Stephen Figures.

CVC improves to 2-0 in the young season, but BCHS falls to 0-2.
