Thomas leads Redskins in tackles vs. Colts

Bakersfield High and Fresno State graduate Phillip Thomas tied for the team lead in tackles for the Washington Redskins tackles in a 49-27 loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

Thomas made five stops for the Redskin defense, tying Ryan Kerrigan for the team lead. Four of Thomas’ tackles were solo tackles.

It was also a career high for Thomas, who has now played four games in his NFL career.

Last week Thomas made his first career tackle in a 17-13 loss to San Francisco.
