Vikings cruise to 56-6 win over tranquility

Brandon Steele had his regular solid performance, but some new faces stepped up with big contributions in Kingsburg’s 56-6 win at home over Tranquility on Friday.

The Vikings grabbed a 21-0 lead in the first quarter and went into half time with 35-0 lead.

Steele went 5-for-8 for 114 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions and he also rushed once for a seven-yard touchdown.

Steele’s heir apparent, Josh Sierra also threw a 39-yard touchdown pass in his only attempt of the night.

However the biggest contribution came from Seth Brooks, who led the Vikings in rushing with seven carries for 102 yards and two touchdowns, plus two catches for 48 yards and a touchdown.

Tranquility got on the board in the fourth quarter with a 33-yard touchdown run by Paul Castro.
