Williams sets Bullard single-game record in win vs. Madera South

Bullard running back Charles Williams set the school’s single-game rushing record in the Knights’ 45-14 win over Madera South on Friday.

Williams carried the ball 16 times for a school record 336 yards and four touchdowns. He scored on touchdown runs of one, one, 72 and 96 yards.

In addition to Williams’ contributions, Markelle Raymond rushed six times for 112 yards and a touchdown.

Knight quarterback Jack Taylor was only asked to throw the ball six times, but he completed four of those passes for 177 yards and a touchdown.

Madera South quarterback Jonah Johnson completed 8-of-19 passes for 102 yards, a touchdown and an interception, plus he rushed 21 times for 149 yards and a touchdown.
